Fun & Creativity
Practical Life
The Montessori Practical Life Curriculum includes exercises and activities that reflect everyday life. These activities foster children's independence, concentration, and fine motor skills. Common practical life activities include transferring objects, preparing food, practicing grace and courtesy, and cleaning.
Sensorial
Sensorial activities help children sharpen their senses of sight, touch, sound, smell, and taste, enabling them to better organize sensory experiences and comprehend their surroundings. Using sensorial materials, children learn to recognize similarities and differences, understand dimensions, colors, and shapes, and differentiate between various smells, tastes, and sounds. Additionally, sensorial work lays the groundwork for learning mathematics, language, and geometry by teaching children classification and sorting skills.
Culture
The Culture Curriculum encompasses a diverse array of subjects, such as geography, botany, zoology, science, history, music, and art. By exploring these cultural topics, children gain a deeper understanding of their community, the world, and their social responsibilities. They learn to respect diversity, appreciate music and art, and develop an awareness of sustainability.
Language
The Montessori Language Curriculum equips children with the knowledge and skills to expand their vocabulary and comprehension of language. Using Montessori language materials, children develop the skills needed for reading, writing, and oral communication through practical, hands-on activities. They learn phonics, letter identification and formation, how to blend sounds to create words, construct simple sentences, and hold a pencil correctly. Oral language skills are nurtured through daily social interactions, group activities, and lessons in grace and courtesy.
Mathematics
The Mathematics Curriculum helps children grasp abstract mathematical concepts and relationships through practical, hands-on activities. Using Montessori materials, children learn to count, match numerals to quantities, connect decimal quantities with symbols, and understand the functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Outside Play
Our outside play program encourages children to explore and engage with nature. Through outdoor activities like gardening, climbing, and games, children develop physical fitness, social skills, and a connection to the natural world.
